Two things:
1) Your '02 Z28 has just as much chance of having an LS6 block in it. That doesn't change that fact that it has all other components the same as any other '01 - '02 LS1, the same electronics, etc. In a word, a block is a block, it doesn't have the extra power claimed by the seller
2) It's a very, very low mileage car, one that someone paid dearly for up front and has paid to keep stored all this time. Said person will be lucky to see that auction go very far, let alone recoup the stated $47,000 invested in a bone stock WS6.

I know, I am not asking on my own behaf of having more power, since it is a LS6, I am trying to prove a point with another member on here, There is a thread in the Kill story section, that this guy is talking about, And I was just wanting to make sure that my theory holds up to everyone elses.

Beginning in 2001, the LS1 received the higher-flowing intake, from the LS6, and a smaller camshaft to keep power at the same level; this also allowed GM to remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system.

it has been discussed numerous times on this board that the ls6 blocks, when found in the fbodys, did not give the car ne more h/p. wikopedia in all my college classes was NEVER to be accepted as a reference for any research...
i have no experience with finding a ls6 block in a fbod, as i own a 98.
