Will a reverse split cam (TR230) compliment LS6 heads, or should I go with a TR224?

I've got a set of stock LS6 heads that I plan to clean up with a light home-port and polish. I'm looking to purchase either a TR 230 or a TR 224 cam. The stock headed TR 230 guys are putting up some great numbers. Will the 230 work as well with my heads as it has been working with the stock ls1 heads? I'm thinking it will, since I'll pick up some exhaust flow with the LS6's and I'm already running FLPs with offroad.
The car is for both track and street, but not my primary vehicle. I'm ok with lope(currently running the RoUgH hotcam). Current mods:
Hotcam, LS6 intake, FLPs w/offroad, cutout, 4.10 12-bolt, HPP3 for rev limit, and the rest of the bolt-ons.
Thanks for any input.
