Default ? for C5R, 6.0L, and LS1 parts?

So i know the 6.0L parts will work with LS1 parts. The heads will bolt up to a 5.7 block and just like all the truck parts. Well what about C5R parts? will they interchange out with LS1 parts like put C5R heads on a 6.0L block or 5.7 block? Will the block work with truck heads? (just wondering i wouln't do that now) I know the C5R heads require a sheet metal intake but what all does the block require? Does the 6.0L block require anything special to work in a LS1 car?

My last question is, are the 5.3 and 4.8 blocks alum or iron? If the 5.3 is alum, isn't it the same block as a 5.7 with a smaller crank?

thanks

However, I'm sure that there have to be some little "gotchas" here and there, but nothing that couldn't be easily overcome. Yes, the C5R heads do require a custom intake, but should bolt up to any Gen. III small block.

The 4.8 and 5.3 truck motors are iron block. I'm not totally positive on the 4.8, but the 5.3 shares the same crank as the 5.7 LS1. The difference is in the bore size.

For the C5R heads, to get the full potential out of them you need to use 2.18" intake and 1.625" exhaust valves. The intake valve needs a block with a bore of at least 4.100".
