Default What kinda numbers can I be looking at with this setup...

Car: 1999 Z28 M6, about 70,000 miles.

I would like to get a ballpark horsepower number that I can shoot for, and have some idea of when I dyno this thing if something is horribly off.

Heres the work that is getting done to the car:
Heads off a 2007 corvette coupe
LS6 instake
SLP long tubes
this cam
and a predator tune

What would be a good rwhp number to be satisfied with?

with what you stated plus pulley and ported tb you could be near 400 rwhp.

Heads off a '07 C6 are LS2/LS6 heads, and that's a smallish cam. I'm going to say you'll make 380-390rwhp with a pulley and ported TB.

I am trying to keep this a daily driver, I am not familiar with what cam numbers mean, what is the next step up in terms of a cam that you guys would recommend for my application?

Wow why even put that cam in there? its way to small.. You can retain your daily driver like mine and smog it even legally with a 224 224 114 LSA... You would need stronger springs and hardenned rods but you will make way more power and retain your daily driver ....

i'm curious why they reccomend ls6 springs with that cam...the lift is in the .570s

i would definatly step up to cc918

but i agree...that cam is gonna be puny.

exactly what I was thinking. def. 224/224. daily driver all the way, and a nice little lope still. can be driven with out a tune, but some power, driveablity to be gained with a proper tune. also get some 4.10's.

also, Id strongly suggest diff. headers if its not too late. hooker long tubes almost drop right in compared to those damn SLP snake-mess headers. Ive installed several sets of headers and I'll try to never install those again. I believe you can get hookers now in stainless steel too. anything besides SLP long tubes.

I agree, Ligenfelter Performance doesn't know squat about small blocks

I would guess it would hit high 300's or maybe 400. You should seriously consider putting this project on hold until you have a chance to research cams and how they work... I don't mean that as an insult by any means. I started off with a generic horsepower number I wanted to hit, and after three months of tireless research, I now understand why different sized cams behave the way they do. I'm not so caught up with peak #'s now; I am in love with broad torque curves. This is a huge decision; don't make it without understanding cams, or you'll likely regret it.

now i wouldn't go that far as to say they don't know squat. but i would say go with at least a 224/224 on a 112 or a 114 if you states got the sniffer.
