Just torque them to 22 lb-ft. Don't forget red-loctite on the intake rockers as the ported heads have the rocker boss in the intake port removed.
You will have some added valvetrain noise after the installation of heads/cam. This is nothing to be too concerned about, assuming everything was installed correctly.

Ditto...
The LS1 does [not] have adjustable rockers. No adjustment at all.
Just tighten the rocker bolts to 22 LB FT.
If you do not have enough preload on the lifters, all you can do is install longer pushrods.

I'm in the same boat after heads/cam. I have tried .050 shorter pushrods + .025 shorter and still have noise. If the heads were milled you'll need custom pushrods. Smith Brothers will make any length you need the same day. I am using the Comp Cams pushrod length checker to see where I need to be. The tech guy said to tighten the rockers just until the slack is gone on the pushrod and then add .030 to that length for the correct pushrod measurement. Each turn on the adjustable rod is .050.
