Hey guys...I live in Tampa, Florida...Looking for some shop that I can trust to work on my baby! I need them to do the heads and cam maybe the headers too...i might try to put those in....does someone know of a good place somewhere around here that can do the install or the tuning at least....i may try and tackle the install if i can find a place to do some GOOD tuning...thanks guys!

this would best be found in teh southern forums. heck www.camaroz28.com has their own florida forum! i would try norris motorsports as well as corvette connection in ft. myers. i think there is a vinci motorsports in orlando as well. go try http://64.91.224.64/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi that is a tampa bay area group as well as http://www.sffba.net/forum/. they are both good sources with the second having more posts and memebers.

I have a friend that is a mechanic and does installs on the side for money. He did my car and is really the only person I let work on my car except me <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> I don't even let the dealership they give me the parts and I install them on my own lol <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Give me a call if you want 305-299-3391 and I will direct you to him.

Well if you want a warranty on the work.. I would get in contact with the guy who did my shortblock.. Email me for the #.. Orlando is right up the road.. I live in Seminole, Florida... Take my advice.. Make an appt.. Oh yeah, Joe99SS is in the Tampa area.. He has this shops full package.. He ran 11.33 at 119mph, I think a 3500 stall and 3.23 gears.. Raceweight is 3550lbs..

Ditto what the other guys said... Norris Motorsports is a great place to deal with and Mikey knows his stuff... I ran 11.33@119 with his stage 2 heads/cam... Also, check out www.badrap.net as mentioned above also for a local group of guys...
