what now?! lol damn my car is weird
ok im in the process of my head's & cam install...so the car is jacked up real high to get the oil pump pickup tube off...well my friend came over today so we could ride out to get his n20 bottle filled..but he needed some gas to get there...well i still have 1/2 tank in my car so i figured i'd give him a few gallons...i held a gas can up to the fuel line and turn the car to the run position...NO fuel..so i tried it 2 or 3 times to get the pump cycled back up..but the pump didnt even come on! what the heck is that about? lol the battery is hooked up and everything..and it worked before i jacked the car up real high...could it be a safty shut off to the pump since the front end of the car is so high up or what?...weird stuff happening lol...any idea's or insight would be greatly appreaciated thank's a ton this kinda stuff really bugs me

lol I never tried it! Did you think about the PCM grounds on the back of the heads being off? Ground those to the block on a valley tray bolt and see if the fuel pump works then. Or you can power up the fuel pump with a jumper wire at the fuel pump relay if the grounds don't make it work.

Joseph is exactly correct. One of the grounds on the back of the driver's side cylinder head is for the fuel pump.

yeah i will check the grounds again...but the heads have been off the car for about 3 months and the pump was working about a week ago i guess the pcm grounds could have been laying on the deck surface and then when i jacked it up they slid off??lol anyways thank's bro i will figure it out sooner or later thank's again..
