Stock vs Schubeck Racing lifters (PICs)
I just got my lifters from Schubeck Racing. With the Comp "R" lifters not being made anymore these have quieted my concerns with lifter choice. I snapped a couple pics to show the difference of the two
Lifter Tops
Lifter Side
Lifter Rollers
They're a little more than other lifters out there but I don't need to worry about lifters anymore

Interesting... That's the first I've ever heard of those. Where did you find them at? How do they compare pricewise to the seemingly extinct Comp 875's?

Re: Stock vs Schubeck Racing lifters (PICs)
These lifters are the best IMO.
Nice to see that you jumped on the ban wagon Bob!!!!
Thanks for the pics!!!!
If you notice bob, look at the oil hole as well and look at the angle of it, its way different then stock as well to keep the roller alot more lubricated....

They were $399 to my door but these are re-worked to handle the stresses that I plan on unleashing here shortly BadZ and an article in Hot Rod Magazine turned me to these guys

Almost forgot The new lifters are about 5 grams heavier than stock( looks like I'm gonna have to cut some bolts in half to get that weight back )

Thats because there is only 3 comapanies that make lifters and this is one of lifters that comp, crane, federal mogal sell..
If u want a CUSTOM made lifter thats really a benefit u need to contact JESEL...
I still say the stock lifter is fine, most people that run it have NO problems.

I think Joe Schubeck said that these are from Eaton???
For most people stock or oem replacements work work with no problems but since its a ball buster to change lifters I'll do it now for the future when I run more rpm, more aggressive lobes and heavier spring pressures

Re: Stock vs Schubeck Racing lifters (PICs)
Faster ranmps along with more spring psi and rpm (7000+)is the problem w/a stock lifter. Most of the grinds out there are fine but there are a few grinds now that can benefit from these lifters.
Cant hurt to add them if u have the heads off.
Good luck Bob...
