I have the same cam with no hole drilled. I set the idle at 800 with ls1 edit and did a fine adjustment to the set screw to get the iac counts down.

Ihave a .563/.563 222/222 114 comp cam the motor is being iinstalled now I also have stage 1 heads Speed Inc. Is doing ls1 edit programing they said if I can get it to them with out drilling it would be better. I was told by another guy to use a .025 feeler gauge put it under the throttle between the adjustment screw. Find a way to secure it if it helps the idle.
