Default How do you guys get the oil pump out?

on my 98, the bottom bolt is IMPOSSIBLE to get to. Did ya'll have to drop the oil pan to get to the sucker or what??

cause the bolt on the oil pump is almost pointed right straight down to the pan and its in a jam where no wrench can get to <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

That's what I did. Loosen the oil pan bolts enough to let the oil pan rest on the K-member. That should give you just enough room to get in there. Don't lose the bolt, though. If I were you, I'd get a telescoping antenna magnet just in case. I dropped the bolt while trying to reinstall it, and the magnet came in very handy.
