Default HO2S Insufficient Switching Bank 1 Sensor 1

Is this simply a flaky o2 sensor? Its code p1133 and I just had it pop up. Any help would be appreciated.

Mike,it sounds like a bad o2 but i would check the wireing harness to make sure it is pluged in all the way.

I fought this same code for 2 months without any luck. I replaced the O2s, switched them from side to side, checked the wiring and no matter what I did, it always returned. I finally gave up and when I sent my computer back to Ed Wright, I had him delete the code. The code has never come back and the car runs perfect. Good luck.

I had this for a while. I swapped sensor 1 for sensor 2 (same bank). The code never came back, but some symptoms did for a short period of time. I think the PCM relearned and it's been fine ever since.

first step would be to back probe the signal wire at the o2 connector with a multimeter and observe the o2 voltage. reason ou need to start here is because the info that reaches the tpical scan tool is like 3 years old by the time you see it. the only wa to see if it is switching correctly is to use the multimeter. (set to dc voltage) bank 1 sensor 1 should bounce between .001 and 1.000. if this is not the case, then chances are you have a bad o2.
