Why not the NAPA 'graphite' ones ?. They are actually made by the same OEM supplier for GM "Victor Reinz". I have a set of GM and NAPA (Which say "Victor Reinz" on the package)and the only difference is the GM part number is not on the NAPA ones.

If you can't get the NAPA ones (they're like $12 to $13 each but were on backorder a couple of weeks ago) call Ken Fitchner Chevrolet and tell them you found them on the Corvetteforum. That will get you 25% off list. I paid about $46 for a pair. They will sell you just the head gaskets.

We chose SDPC to be our GM sponsor because they will handles all our needs and their prices AND shipping are reasonable. You can take the info from here and go your dealer but SDPC is the most knowledgeable dealer in the country for LS1/LS6 performance.

hey guys, just to let you know, i'm a mechanic at a pontiac dealer here where i live- the reason GM sells the head gaskets in a kit form is because those head bolts are "torque to yield" stlye bolts. what that means to you is that they have to be replaced everytime you remove them. thats why GM decided to sell them as a kit. as far as the price goes, i dunno about that- never bought a set yet. not a good idea to re-use them. just FYI...

Plus, that package has loads of crap nobody would ever need, like intake manifold gaskets....yet they leave out stuff like AIR tube gaskets. Makes no sense. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
