yella terra vs. harland sharp..
#27
I just installed the new Yella Terra's ultra-lights #6645 on my Vette this past week. My main reason was to try to get rid of some valve train noise and also make sure I don't get any needle bearings in the oil pan. These rockers are impressive to look at and very well designed. My car gets to 6500 rpm in a hurry with no valve float. I am using TSP Stage 2.5 5.3L heads that have the dual springs, 224/228 Comp Cam, .045 Cometic head gaskets, and 7.4 push rods. Valve train noise seems to be the same as before, maybe just a bit quieter, but not much.

Any of the Yella Terra owners have to grind the valve covers for clearance? I have a set going in this week on a heads/cam swap that is in progress. Just looking for what to expect the first time I fire it to break in the valvesprings...

That's what was I put on with my TF heads. No fitment problems, and they look like they're well made. And yes, roller tips.
