I sent an email in about it as well. Where can you buy the isky springs if I need to swap them out?

I'd like to begin by saying, I have no ties to Comp, nor do I endorse, nor defend their products. This is just my observation....maybe it can help in reaching your end result of complete happy motoring.

I only know what I've read on the recent posts concerning this issue, (both mikey's and this one) and it sounds to me from the first e-mail that Comp legitimately didn't know there was a problem.....whether people that had issues were not informing them, were blaming the install instead, whatever. It does sound like they are willing to help. I know that it's extremely hard to hide your emotions when your baby is sitting in the garage with a grenaded motor that you probably spent a butt-load of money on....believe me I've been there with a tranny or two. If we all hope to get the best results, we need to keep an open line of communication with Comp, providing them with all of the info that they need concerning breaks, etc. (whether that means sending back springs, pictures, whatever). We also need to stay on them and assure them this is a serious issue that needs quick and complete corrective action. If we as a group (the LS1 owners) work constructively with them, they're going to be more prone to work with us in the future. Plus, it's our best bet in getting FULL reparations for the damage the fails have caused (this sounds like a valid commonality, so I'll be assuming that this is a simple batch that was bad). Comp I'm sure has great insurance, and if we do prove that the batch is bad, I'd be willing to bet that in favor of their reputation they're going to do everything in their power to make things right. Please everyone that has experienced breaks, for the sake of everyone sitting with broken motors SPEAK UP! Let's use this forum for what it's intended: inform other LS1 owners of quality/faulty products, and come together to increase the quality and selection of performance parts and information for our cars.

I agree with you, but Comps been called about this. They known about the recent breaks of mine and Rons right after they happened. So i know for a fact they have known for a good 2 weeks. Guys before have called them, but they just brush them off and say that these springs have no issues....
