Re: where to get good forged pistons for cheap? www.ls1motorsports.com has a set for like 999$ and it comes forged ross pistons, moly rings, matched set of LS1 rods, and ARP rod bolts.

IMO pistons of any brand will be at least $500.

Re: where to get good forged pistons for cheap? Go to www.JEPistons.com and look thru their JE catalog with small block pistons. Then call them up, the LS1 pistons should not be too bad and you can order Total Seal Rings with them

Re: where to get good forged pistons for cheap? Thunder Racing has the JE pistons in stock, ready to ship for $600. Just specify if you wish to use a stock rod (6.098") or a 6.125" aftermarket rod. They have the Luanti (6.125") rods in stock as well for $700.
