that could be a bad idea i love my car and putting cheap **** in it is not to bright would you ask a dr. to put cheeper metal pins in a broken bone if you could save money any way if you want cheep put together a kit your self start with a crank with a 4 inch strk than a pistone that maches your bore then a 6.2 rod and get the needed bearings and hope you dont **** up the instilation may have to clearance block and have to get different cam and flash your computer and get a dino tune any way you look its a good $4000.00 + ps if you try to use ls1 edit you could fry your pcm my guy has been doing this sence ls1 came out and is still learnig its worth the dino tune dont meen to be an *** but would hate to see things go wrong for a fellow g.m.er

Jegs and Summit have an Eagle balanced stroker kit for ~$2,400. Comes with crank, pistons, rods, rod bolts, and pistons rings.

There is also a kit sold on eBay for ~$1,900 that includes an Eagle crank and rods, and Mahle pistons. It is not a balanced assembly though.
