cam or no cam? and suggestions please.
I was wondering what everyone thought would be a good streetable cam. I will be daily driving this car. It will be a M6 with stock 3.42 gears, but eventually a 12 bolt with 3.90s or 4.10s. I want something mildly agressive but nothing that surges and bucks at every light. I am looking for a good low end torque cam that makes power pretty consistently throughout the RPMs.
A buddy of mine has the F13 cam, which he makes very nice power throughout but he also has AFR heads, so I attribute a good amount of that power to it. I believe the specs are 230/232. He will also be tuning my car once it is complete, he is a great tuner.
Also some basic information on what supporting mods I should do would be greatly appreciated. I assume springs, maybe an LS6 timing chain and what not. Honestly I don't know much on cams and how to choose one and what is needed to make them perform and be safe at the same time.
BTW, just for the record, I have helped with 2 cam swaps on a friends SS (HOSS on here) and seeing that the motor will be out of the car anyways, I figured this would be way easier and less of a pain then doing it down the road.
Thank you all for the help. This is a pretty big decision at this part in the build.

Thunder racing/Futral are good cam choices or a custom cam. If you want we can figure it out one day and go from there. I saw we set it up with a custom grind.

also dont go with a wussie cam like a 224. get a man cam like a trex, MS3/4, G5x3/4.
