I thought they slightly offset the crank. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

I think a .005 overbore is standard when changing the pistons, anyway. So it's essentially a mild stroker, right?
Do you guys build them to any requested compression, or does that cost extra?
I'm interested in getting a heads/cam package in the next year, but one of the alternatives I'm considering is just buying a whole ARE 360 crate motor. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

yes that is correct <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Usually they put in flat top ROSS custom forged pistons with dropped ringlands for NO2/FI use.
Compression is approx the same as stock.
I love my 360, I have run 122.6mph through it so far all motor with the 200R A4 tranny I had in the car previously.
Ran 120.78mph in 2500DA this past weekend with an electrical problem with the six speed back in the car and stock clutch.
Battery hold broke and battery fell against the strut tower on hard launches and shorted out causing the car to die altogether just after launch.
11.3-11.5@122mph coming in a couple of weeks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

'Nother Q:
The 360 crate motor comes with ARE stage 2 heads, right? Do you use dual valvesprings on them?
Thanks. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

yep that was it. I am pretty relieved, I didnt want to check every goddamn wire to the PCM LOL! (Thanks again George and Terry for suggesting I check that out)
I got S1 heads with my package (2.02/1.57 valves) and aggressive port work. Cam is a comp custom with 226/234 .560 lift intake and exhaust.
You can get whatever head config you want on the short, just give them a call and let them know what you want.
Thing I like about this motor is that it makes good power and torque without having to worry about sleeves etc.
Cheers,
Chris
