The Vette oil pan will not fit even with the tube K-member. I tried, wasn't even close to fitting. Anyway the F-body oil pan is better anyway since the oil is farther away from the stuff that spins

Just a thought... if I used the Lightweight K member would the oil pan fit into a 2001 SS or would I still have to swap the LS1 oil pan on?

I thought the LS6 oil pan was supposed to help stop the oil pressure from dropping and fluxuating on cornering and acceleration? or is that just the oil pickup system?

I believe that when testing on long high g corners it was losing oil pressure, so they added the "wings" and baffling to the already shallow pan for more qauntity.
