I would go ahead and invest in a C5R block and then you have to decide on heads. I would have to say use ls6 heads so you don't HAVE to go with a custom intake manifold.
That plus a bulletproof drivetrain and you should be good to go!

To build an 11 second all motor A4 car is not difficult in the least.
With all the bolt ons, a Yank tp4400, skinnies and slicks, and a 3350 or lower raceweight you are guaranteed an 11 second car in most any weather at a decent altitude.
With this I would say you could build a 10 second car with a proven heads/cam package all the bolt ons, that same tp4400 and maybe a sub 3300 raceweight.
I personally am hoping to hit high 10's with a cam only once the good weather sets in.

mike, your car is insanely fast for the mods you have!! good job!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> How streetable is that tp4400??
LOL, you don't need a c5r block to go 11's or 10's (???)

Just finished installing another Stage 2X LS6 Cam/head package from Cartek in a 01 ZO6. The car just went 11.47@ 121.8 with a 1.80 60'. That same setup in a F-body with gears and a converter will do you just right. Call Dave at Cartek about further information. His number is 1-908-654-9993. Mention Redline Motorsports recommended you!
