Just GOT MY 230/224 installed.... and i tst drove it and burnt up my 2-3 shift, DOH. it pulled hard and idles rough and lopes hard. i like it but DEFINTILY needs tunning. btw its an A4 and 3.73s its feels good but like i said i didnt get a true test run my/our dumbasses didnt refill the tranny all the way and well....you know the rest. note to self...CHECK TRANNY FLUID YOURSELF AND DONT RELY ON YOUR FREIND "I THNK WE ALLREADY DID IT"....lol <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

Re: Just GOT MY 230/224 installed.... it does,Jason sent me a sound clip and it sounds EXACTLY the same, i was impressed,. without tuning its a bitch to get a steady idle and wants to dies every now and then but im sending out the PCM this week to hopefully have all that fixed...

Re: Just GOT MY 230/224 installed.... I just helped a friend put the same cam in his 99 TA. It fired right up. He is still breaking it in, so taking it easy, not going above 3500. But it lopes hard, and he says he can tell it pulls harder.
Fluid change, and he'll be ready to hammer the hell out of it. He also took of the stock cats. It's a totally different car.

Re: Just GOT MY 230/224 installed.... lol no it stalled a few times and ilde re learn was done,on cold starts its rough but warm starts is terrible, tuning is on the way but as far as running, it runs fine but way rich i dont have any deffinite answers till the tranny gets back and the pcm gets tuned by Thunder, but i can tell ya AT THIS POINT it seems it will be fine in an A4 with decent gearing (i got 3.73s)
