Re: Who makes 2.02/1.57 valves
Are the factory stock heads a 2 or 3 angle?
With larger 2.02/1.575 valves what would be the advantage of a new 3 angle vale job?
Do most sponser heads [GTP,MTI,TEA]have new seats cut for larger valves?TIA

I have Farreas. I got them thru my machine shop but you can get them at Summit/Jegs I believe. If you put in bigger valves you want to have a new valve job and port the pockets and seats to get the biggest gain.

Re: Who makes 2.02/1.57 valves
The stock seats are 3 angle and not too bad for stock. They can flow pretty well by blending them into the bowl. For a budget setup, the stock valvejob is fine if the heads don't have many miles on them. But you'll have to use stock or stock sized valves.
If you go with larger valves, the valves might not seat good on the stock valve job. You can alter flow characteristics with a valve job and backcutting the valves so there is room for improvement.
I carry Ferrea, REV, and a valve similar to Manley. If you're interested in valves, drop me an email. I'm competitively priced. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
