I did the same thing when putting my rockers back on. Luckily i didnt turn it over, or even torque the rockers down yet. Once i hand tightened all the rockers i took a quick break and went to get my valve-covers. guess what was sitting inside them.

I couldn't... on a C5 you can't really get a wrench on the balancer, and I could only turn it using my hand when the rockers were off. On my old SS it was never a big deal but this stupid thing has the steering rack in the way.

wow that's a great tip! i dont even on a vetter but i'll remember that for next time, never know i may work on one of them fkkers one day
