How stealthy is a TR227/224? Video inside
850kb video:
http://home.austin.rr.com/tyr/c5/TR227_idle.avi
The video doesnt really do it justice..basically, this thing sounds really close to stock through a totally stock exhaust setup.
Cam specs are 227.4/223.6 .566/0.562 on a 113.7lsa, aka the Thunder 227/224.
I have no doubt it'd sound mean through longtubes, no cats, and a cutout or a aftermarket catback, but right now I'm enjoying the silence and stock idle. 392rwhp in a stock sounding, stock driving, smooth idling 3200lb corvette is awesome! GTP heads + TR cam kicks major ***

I'll take another vid with a little gas next time, but it just sounds like a stock corvette revving, I promise.
Loco, I didn't see you at the track last night! Don't ask about my times, but I did manage to pull a 0.500 reaction time

Dude, did you say it's a vette? Sounds like my aunt's Cadillac. Pretty stealthy though.

Literally you could go sit 1 foot from those tailpipes and have a conversation with a normal speaking voice. I had to get the camera way up in there to get any sort of sound.

I have the same cam in my automatic and it doesn't sound bad at all even with headers/catback. I'll have to take a video of it and post it.
