Default LS1/LS7 Lifter dimentions.

Is there any different length/height differences on converting from ls1 to ls7 lifters?

They should be the same. -Right? I'm trying to figure pushrod lenght here for a h/c swap for a buddy. Head gasket thickness, and possible new length/height dimensions.

Also, Is there anything wrong w/ sinking that plunger into the lifter beyond initial preload?
