Boyce, what exactly does your exhaust system consist of?

I would tend to agree that with the drop off of your high RPM torque that your exhaust is too restrictive for that large of a cam. But then again, who am I to offer an opinion on this, everyone is convinced that my exhaust is too big

I would suggest redynoing with a wideband and open headers with extensions to verify actual power. Do you have LS1_Edit? I think I can squeeze a 4th license on my LS1_Edit for roughly half price (if interested) and I'd be happy to help you fine tune and squeak every extra ounce of power out of your combo because personally I think you have about 20-25 more HP waiting to be unleashed

JOHN B sounds like a plan. I would love to talk to you about building a true dual system for the car. Currently the exuast is FLP's and ORP's. Been thinking of going to Grotts though.

Nate, what would be the advantage of changing to grotts over the FLP's? Also, if you sell your FLP's I have first dibs. How serious are you?

Copy this link http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...6.jpg.orig.jpg first, then click on this link http://www.imagestation.com , then paste over what you first copied...kinda a pain but it worked for me!

Run a dynomax Ultra flow oval welded muffler (preferrably the single in/single out 3 inch version)
That muffler kicks ***
Cheers,
Chris

Are the FLP's 1-5/8" or 1-3/4" tubes?

FLPs are 1-3/4" and you will gain absolutely nothing by switching to Grots.

The best flowing, and nicest sounding setup I've seen is a simple round Borla XR1 3" straight thru muffler welded where the midpipe goes and have it dump before the axle. Its much deeper and quieter than you may think! Also, a lightweight setup.

I have no idea what caused the dip in the torque? Anyone have any ideas? or is that something to be expected with this set up?

A cuttout and a stock rearend and I bet he makes ~440 RWHP. Very impressive if you ask me.

Hey FWIW all this talk about cat back exhausts, Slowhawk has Corsa on his car with H/C and FLP's this things sounds like a Winston Cup car! Bad *** in my opinion!
