NEED HELP WITH 02 ZO6 CAM SHIFT POINTS
Where are you guys setting your 1-2 shift point and 2-3 shift point. I keep banging my 2-3 shift piont on the rev limiter which is set at 6500. Is this rev limit to high. I pretty sure im shifting around 6300 from 1-2, and same around for 2-3. Should I just raise the limter to 6600 or is that just way to high. I also have stock pushrods and zo6 springs. HElP

Does your car have headers? Stock heads? Also, I see you are using LS6 springs. You probably dont want to rev that thing to 6500 with those springs. They are really not strong enough for that cam with stock valves. The 02 LS6 engine has lightened valves so that lighter weight spring could be used. That cam needs comp 915 or 918 springs to rev that high. It might be working ok for now, but I'm sure some valves are/will start to float.

I have the 01 LS6 cam and springs. I have the rev limiter set at 6500 rpms and the 1-2 shift at 6300 rpms, the 2-3 at 6100 rpms.

Re: NEED HELP WITH 02 ZO6 CAM SHIFT POINTS
I have stock heads and long tube headers. I think I might just reset the settings so there is no increase in shifting from 2-3 gear.
