9-10K to spend, lemme hear what you have to say I am ab out to spend around 10K on my car, I want it run deep in the 10's and remain somewhat streetable, what should I do?
Mods now are a TNT 150 shot, SLP LT's, TH400 w/JW3500 stall, bolt on's
What should I do?
1. Forged 347 shortblock from Cartek with a 12 lb. turbo
2. MTI 382 with a 200 shot?
What combo would you guys run, which would be faster?
Add any more combos you would suggest for around 10K, give or take $500

You have the nitrous system, headers and good tranny etc now.
I would go with a vendors 422 6L Iron block motor with S3 6L heads at about 11.5:1 compression, nitrous spec cam and their custom fuel system. Run a 200 shot on that and you can forget low tens...You would go mid nines with hook and be dead reliable. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I can get that for 10K? MTI wanted like 8K for just the 422 shortblock
