Guys with TR230 and milled heads.... I'm looking to go with the stage 2 GTP heads at the first of next year. Anyone else with that cam/head combo? Did Thunder Racing determine if there was clearance issues with that cam and milled heads?

Re: Guys with TR230 and milled heads.... I have ported LS1 heads milled .060". The reason I'm having to run valve reliefs in my pistons is because of the large 2.055" valves. P to V was tight with 2.02 valves and it was too close with 2.055 valves. If you run 2.02 valves and run heads milled .050" or less, you should be fine.

Glad to hear that. So even if I remove material from a 241 chamber to increase low-lift flow, I can go all the way into the .040s! Of course, it will be checked, but this is good encouragement!
