Anyone else having this problem???
I got a new ported pump at the same time as double roller timing chain and a new cam.
My idle is about 800 after she warms up and once it get's below 1000 the oil pressure drops from about 40 down to about ~5 or lower when it hits 800. I just goose it a little and it shoots back up...
help!!!

you got a bad O ring. when you replace it, put the O ring on the pick-up tube, not in the pump to help kep from damaging it. been there, done that 2 times in as many years.
