LS1 build up - Cam advice please

Howdy,
I am working on a car for a friend. 93 RX7 that is getting an LS1 / T56.

We are using an 99 ls1 that has some CNC heads from SLP. They are brand new but several years old (not the latest tech but will flow better than stock). Using a ls6 intake and 1 3/4 full length headers. Will be used for drifting / track days with some street driving. Would like something that pulls good to almost 7k.

Which cam should i get? I could use recommendations for cam & springs.

I plan on ordering a cam thursday, have been doing research but there is a lot to learn and get current on.

crane cams custom grind (hr5 lobes) 228/232 .600/.600 112+4, matched with there #144832-16 or #144833-16 valve springs depending on what seat pressure you would like/prefer.

For off the shelf you can look at something the MS4 or T-Rex since low end power should not be an issue in a lightweight track car. You could get something like a 236/236 109 107 and have a solid 5000 - 6800 powerband.

For best info, post up the details of the heads:

Have the heads been milled by you or SLP? Expected CR? Valve reliefs?

I don't know anything about the heads, they are on the motor - it looks like some sort of SLP crate motor - has all SLP parts (oil pump, slp cam, SLP CNC'ed heads). It has traded hands several times and we don't know the history of it other than it has not been run since it was built (it started as a low mile motor it looks like).

I am a little worried that the head might be milled and that the big cams would have piston clearance issues. I might have to pull the heads to find out
