806 heads...

Anyone ever heard of the 806 head before? That's whats on my SS and have never heard of it before. Its a 98 so I'm sure that's a common casting but I dunno. Thanks in advance...

Those are the 98 castings. I have the same ones on my car.

I have the same heads on my 99. but they are ported heads and are from a 98.

Ok just wondering... I had heard some 853 castings were on 98s and never heard much talk about 806s

No, they changed to 853s THEN to the 241s.

97, 98 = 339/806
99-01 = 853
01-04 = 853/241

better?

there is variation in there... ive seen 99 cars with 241s also.
