Re: GM Part Numbers??
give Valvegod a shout in the classifieds for those parts, you'll probably save alot of money. Also, sounds like you're doing a 99+ head install on your 98. Here's a tip, buy a 99+ PCV system as well

Re: GM Part Numbers??
'99's still have the same old POS PCV setup as the '98's. The revised PCV setup was introduced along with the LS6 intake, and requires the matching LS6 valley cover as well. This setup has the PCV outlet on the valley cover instead of from the valve covers.
To install the LS6 valley cover on a '98-99 LS1, you need to grind down a casting boss on the LS1 block. It just takes a few minutes w/ a cutting wheel.
Here are a few pics of the install:

OOPS --- I posted the link to the "album", instead of the actual pics. For some reason, I'm not able to edit my previous post.

Re: GM Part Numbers??
So what about the part numbers???
<img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Any for the LS6 valley cover, as this looks like something I may want to do as well.
I think I may have answered my own post...Is this the right number: 12568002

Re: GM Part Numbers??
OK, now I am confused... Can somebody explain exactly what I need (assuming I change the PCV setup).
I am getting 5.3L heads for my 98Z. I have an LS6 intake.
Thanks again,
Kyung
