The cam is not a bad match to the heads, but so what?
With that much exhaust duration, it sounds like a nitrous grind.
Whose ported LS6 heads? What kinda car is it for?

the heads were done by Pete at "CNC"
NOT for nitrous
01 WS6 m6
compression will be around 11.3
this head/cam combo on a vette put down 430 rwhp running very rich with 10.7 compression
I figured with his extra drivetrain loss, my higher compression, tuning at cartek on dyno, my grott's (not sure what headers he had), and carsounds highest flowing cats (if I remember corectly the vette reused stock or not so great after market cats) 450 rwhp should be achievable
what do you guys think?
I posted because I've never seen anyone running this cam
thanx

Also if you can tell us duration at .200" lifter travel i can give you informed opinion of cam you chose.

gross valve lift: .581/.588
duration at .006 tappet lift: 273/277
valve timing at .050: open close
intake 0 BTDC 44 ABDC
exaust 46 BBDC 2 ATDC
these specs are for the cam installed at 112 intake center line
duration at .050: 224/228
lobe lift: .3420/.3460
lobe seperation: 112.0
that's it
thanx John

how does it compare to say a : XE-R? from what I've been reading, I think they're similar
if so how does the power compare to some of the ones you guys are running? say the 2 thunder cams.
thanx guys

I think that is an XE-R, don't know of any other Comp profiles like that. If you are ditching the cats and have free flowing exhaust, the extra exhaust duration isn't going to help.

If I may chime in my XE-R lobe chart says the .200 lift duration is:
224 XE-R lobe is 146 @.200
228 XE-R lobe is 149 @.200
I hope this answers the questiion asked.
