Bigger isn't always better! What kind of heads are you using? How much compression will you have? Auto or stick?

I am finishing up a 418 motor that is using a .644/.630 with a 238/244 duration on a 112 LCA. A cam like that would kill a 382.

Trying calling CompCams tech line and see what they say. Give us some more data on your setup!

I have a 226/234 cam in it now and it runs great after a lil LS1Edit.So tuning will not be a problem

I'd stay above 230 duration for both the intake and the exhaust Hampton.

Single pattern will idle better.

I was thinking maybe the Raging 230/230 .592/.592 110 or maybe something in the 234/234 range.
