HELP!! Anti-Freeze EVERYWHERE!!!
Well first things first. I was racing a SS Friday night. After the race I noticed smoke coming from under the hood and could immediately identify the smell. Antifreeze!
So I pulled over after the race and smoke was everywhere and there was antifreeze all over the engine bay. I noticed no power loss during the race or anything. So I acquired a flashlight from a friend and looked underneath. Antifreeze was pouring. So instead of sitting there I tried my best to get it to the nearest gas station. (Engine Temps were absolutely fine). I drove to the closest gas station. About 10-15 minutes, while monitoring my engine temperatures with an eagle eye.
Finally I got to the gas station and looked underneath. Absolutely NO leaking. I couldnt believe it. So I tried putting some antifreeze in the radiator and it took maybe a 20 ounce bottle full.
So it acted fine for the rest of the night. No problems or anything. Then last night we parked at the movies, and once I left the movies it started again. Keep in mind, I didnt get on it or drive it hard. Just normal city driving. So I took it to a friends garage and we jacked up the car to look under it. We started the car and there is an ever so slight leak coming from somewhere around the back of the pulleys. It would drip down behind the pulleys, onto the sway bar and drip on off from there.
Does anyone know what would cause this? I looked around on the hoses and didnt see any leaks. Not saying there isnt, but I couldnt see any if there was.
All help would be greatly appreciated..
Thanks

First things first, Check the radiator cap, is it sealing? Is it holding proper pressure? Then look at the puke tank, is the neck all soaked? If it is, and the radiator cap is bad, replace the cap. If the cap is good, possibly a thermostat problem. Next get under the car and check the weephole on the water pump, it's just behind the pulley on the bottom side of the pump, if it's leaking from there, new water pump time!!

It's probably either waterpump or one of your hoses. You'd be blowing out smoke if you cracked a head gasket. Make sure your bypass isn't leaking.

Waterpump. There is a "weep hole" on the bottom on the pump casing. More than likely that's it.
Don't drive it anymore until it's fixed.
