I'm building one just like that for a friend. We had it torque plate bored and honed to 4.030" and ordered the Lunati stroker kit with pistons to match. Lunati had JE make the pistons though. I should be assembling the shortblock this next week if the block is ready. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Slammed, go with the 4.125" crank and pull 422ci outa it.. The more cubes the better IMO, especially when they really don't cost you anything extra to get them.

Side loading of the cylinder walls, more ring wear, and more piston wear. I really have no idea how much additional wear though.

At 4.125" the extra wear is negligable or non-existant in my opinion.. Go much past this, and you may start running into issues..

What length rod are you using with the 4.125" stroke?
Is your rod ratio going to be below 1.5?
(Rod length / stroke = rod ratio)
Thanks,
Mike
