pushrods in 01' ls1, are they the same as 03' ls6?

Re: pushrods in 01' ls1, are they the same as 03' ls6? ok, the reason i ask is i am going with a cam very soon, havent decided what yet. i have an 01 a4 and need it to run on stock programming for a while. this is my only car and gets a few miles so i need something that is very streetable. a buddy of mine is selling custom ground cam he ran in his auto with stock prog with no problems but he also has some ls6 pushrods, and offered them to me, i need to know if they will work in the ls1 and if there would be any benefit to having the 03' ls6 pushrods over an 01' ls1 pushrods. anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.
