Default Patrick G custom cam startup!

I finally got my cam installed this weekend, and got some video of the initial startup (after dinking with the idle screw on the throttle body for a while). It starts right up and finds its idle within a minute or two even on semi-cold days, so I'm pretty happy Gonna get it tuned sometime this week or next, hoping for 390rwhp or so through the 3500 stall.

Anything special about this cam for A4 use?

Looks like your camera was muted when shooting. No sound here.

I don't know about the sound, but it sure does look like a good cam!! Congrats on the successful install.

I specified the 3500 stall and ~6500 shift points for this one, as I don't particularly want to kill my tranny with high RPM's or a big *** stall. I imagine the cam would work well for an M6 too, but for the money Patrick charges its way better just to get him to set one up for you

thanks again

I totally thought it was going to run like *** untuned but it runs pretty well! even this morning startup, it cranked right up and settled into a 750rpm idle. I let it sit for a minute, then pulled out and drove away like it was nothing. Sounds nasty as hell in the parking deck at work, already had several comments about it I'm totally happy!

The one time I hit it somewhat hard (don't want to run it out untuned) I was pulling out into an on ramp and damn near went into the ditch from all the extra power
