Re: Thoughts on my a new cam....
PSJ - What about the recent success reported from that 106 LSA cam?
The cam in question is the Pig cam on a tighter LSA. Two M6s have run low low 11s with it and another A4 was the first ever 346 NA in the 10s, so its obviously a strong cam. The ramps are slower than the XE-Rs and the cam is a little outdated, but it would be fun to see what it would do on that LSA. The idle would be pretty damn bad judging how it handled on a 112.

'Pig' cam was a good grind from last year... 226/112.
Redoing doing it as a 226/108 will not mean it will work better.
Tighter LSA can mean narrower power band.

I'd probably go straight up with the 108-110 stuff.
IMO, if your combo also includes some ported heads,
I'd do 232/232//110 maybe +2 advance but I'd install straight up and see where it peaks and go back in if necessary.
I don't think I'd do 226/108 or 110.
I ran 236/240///111 a few year ago.

Funny Chris.. I cant find a post in this section where you said you changed the cam.. He really does not have to tighten the lsa at all.. I would run with the 226 XE-R on a lsa 112.. I never had the heads to show the true glory of that cam.. I think it will shine. By the way.. Plus 4 would be killer on that cam.
