Default Max Power for Stock Short Block

H/C Change, headers, intake, mild nitrous (150HP Max), or mild boost (7psi), How much it can handle?

With either, the main focus is tuning and a/f.

Boost is 500-550rwhp max. I've seen 576 with ARP rod bolts and a .013 thicker head gasket. In my opinion, you are on borrowed time though.

to start with I would worry about the cast pistons. Those are really only good for maybe 450rwhp. Basicly a heads/cam/intake/exhuast/tuning combo. Over that then I want to add forged pistons and forged rods.
