Well all i need to know is will this be worth it(to me a tenth and 1 mph in the quarter would be worth it.)? The Hotcam was a good mod for the price but i want the most that i can make on stock heads. And if its worth it would the 224 or the 230 be the better choice? I dont plan on doing heads, just a 100 shot of nitrous. And from the dyno graphs ive seen of the 2 cams it looks like the 224 makes a broader powerband? Not sure but i would think that the reverse split cam wouldnt be the best choice for nitrous, but the car will be driven na about 90 percent of the time and im more interested in it running its best off the bottle not on. will either of these lope harder than the hotcam? i sure love a lopey cam. ive heard that the 230 lopes a bit harder than the 224. please help me make the right choice. thanks

Re: Swithching from Hotcam to TR224 or TR230 I just switched from the hotcam to the tr224 mid range feels alot stronger than the hotcam.The tr224 ist as choppy as the hotcam but you can till tell theres a cam in the car. I havent redynoed the car yet, but i made 358hp and 353tq at the wheels with my other set up.hope this helps.

Re: Swithching from Hotcam to TR224 or TR230 my setup right now dyno'd 382 hp and 367 tq. im not to worried about the dyno numbers, i want to know about 1/4 mphs. ive got a ported throttle body and a dynomouth on the way. i still have the stock catback with cutout. i want to trap over 118. i think that that would put me really close to the 11's.
