I want to replace my piston rings
I had the oil consumption problem with my 1998 z28
replace rings or get new piston and ring ?
Need your advice and comments.

If you are going to be ripping apart the bottom end you should just build a forged bottom end. Unless you enjoy taking the engine out then you can just keep building it up. But honestly i would go forged if you are going to be taking the engine apart to replace rings anyways.

Yea im gona replace my rings, but thats simply because im getting a stroker for summer 03 and im gona need something to hold me till then. Im just gona use the stock ones. If your replacing the rings and dont plan on gettnig a stroker, just get a piston and rod kit
