Default T1 vs TR 224 cam questions...

I have been doing a lot of research in to what cam I am going to get next. I am looking at either the T1 or TR224 112lsa. I can’t seem to come across any comparisons on these.. I will have stock heads, 918 springs, lid, LS6 MAF, ported TB, LS6 intake, and Hooker LT headers. My car is a 99 SS M6
I want a cam that has all around power. I occasionally make passes down the ¼ and autocross as well. My car only gets taken out on the weekend and also gets lots of highway miles. Which of these cams would be best suited for me.?.
If its lopey that’s alright as long as it runs. Which one has more of a lope? I will not be tuning right away unless it is needed which is no problem.
I have read that the 224 makes good power up top but does it suffer down low compared to the T1?? Also how much difference will the 224 be up top?? Are we talking about small power or will it be noticeable??
I know that both MTI and Thunder Racing are good vendors with good customer service so that won’t be an issue.
So all in all will I be losing or gaining anything by going to the bigger 224 cam?

Sorry for mass of questions but I think its about time for me to decide what to order..
Thanks for your answers..

Has anyone gotten the T1 to pass the sniffer? What about the 224?

both these cams are good. the 224 might make a little more hp up top. i think the T1 lopes harder. i have the T1 & love it. people think it is a lot larger than what it is & it makes great pwr for how large it is.

The TR224/.561/112lsa runs great.
I just posted in the other CAM topic, LunaticTA put down 373 rwhp and I put down 368 rwhp untuned.
Its a great daily driver, although its killing my gas milage. But thats my fault due to enjoying the power.

As for the customer service ... Thunder is WAY above MTI. I would NEVER recommend MTI. Long history. email me if you want more info

I have had good customer service from Thunder but I have had good service at MTI as well and my T1 puts down 377 hp in my A4 car with stock heads so it is a good and proven cam as well.
