My 422 w/ ARE
Just had to mention this as far as ARE's customer service is concerned.
I talk to Wade and mentioned to him that I was getting coolant in my oil with only 500 miles on the motor. Mind you, I bought my motor in 08/01. I was building the car slowly around the 422. Suspension, Exhaust & Fuel. Well in the end, the car hasn't been driven in about 10 months since doing all the other mods. At the time that the car went down under the knife. The motor was extremely strong but had that coolant issue. I did was I was told at the time before these miserable 10 months and added the Moroso block sealer to no avail. Miserable because I haven't been able to drive her. Well I'm finally done with all the mods and she's still getting coolant in the oil.
Wade told me he would fix her up like new. In addition I'll upgrade to 6.0 heads so I can lower my compression from 11.5-1 to 11-1. I live in California and 94 octane isn't at the local station. I have to use 91 and hope the new 11-1 will get along.
Thanks again to ARE for standing up and offering excellnt customer service.

Agreed! Wade is really making a strong effort in the customer serviced dept. My 383 iron short block will be here on Monday. I had some concerns with my package and Wade made every effort to accomadate them. In the end I couldnt be happier. Wade and Barry will continue to have my business.

good to hear. but honestly though.. I wouldnt call replacing a bad part for free 'bending over backward' i would call it just regular old good business. now if he gets it fixed and back to you in less than one month.. well then thats a marked improvement! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

1 month turnaround would be nice. But I'm just happy that he's going to fix the problem. He mentioned that his motor in his 8.90 car has had no issue with dropping and water what so ever.

Another vote for Wade and ARE. Long story, but I've been waiting for my (piad in-full) motor since February. After I was informed by Wade, via a phone call, that ARE was now his and their PROBLEM was gone, I will be bringing my car to Norris Motorsports this Monday for install of everything in my sig. Wade, in 3 weeks took care of 8 months of problems and now this project will be finished. The whole story when I get my car back!
