wanted to know if anyone is running them with N2O and what people think of them compaired to JE or Ross. i was asking because i was planing on running JE N2O pistons but i won a $100 gift certificate at the Thunder Shoot out for Diamond Pistons.

I had JE pistons in my N/A 383 LT1 and broke one due to detonation. I replaced them with Diamond pistons.

Things I noticed were the Diamonds have a groove machined between the top and second ring (so the pressure that gets by the top ring has somewhere to go rather than unseat the top ring), and they were machined for lightness, and the pin fit was 'nicer'.

My LT1 383 made 451rwhp naturally aspirated, and I also use Diamonds in my current 357ci supercharged LT1 (which is doing allright).

Taqwache - We make a lot of nitrous pistons for some heavy hitters. We do a lot of Pro Mod pistons and those guy's spray the hell out of there engines. We also do a lot of Super Street Outlaw guy's and they also generally hit there engines with 500 hp shot. You will find that our quality is just as good as JE, if not better.
