Re: Stock heads/ What cam are you running
What is the typical tuning required when getting a 224/224 cam. Air/fuel, timing????

Re: Stock heads/ What cam are you running
I'm running a Comp 224 single pattern .581 112 cam and it runs pretty darn good Still needs a little tunning but it'll do for now.

Thanks again for all of your help, expertise and time involved in helping me swap out my cam

TR 224/112 with stock heads and SLP LT's. I do have a MAFT to lean it out a bit. So far, with 5% rich on Base and 2% lean on WOT, I pulled a 113.10 trap speed.

I would immagine that this leaves a fair amount of power on the table to be discovered with a head swap, eh? This might be a good choice for me because I'm going to have to do it in stages. How does that idle with the 111 LSA? Seems like it would be a little harsh for the street.

Re: Stock heads/ What cam are you running
Hotcam - only "tuning" (and I use the word loosely *L*) is with MAFT and HPP3. It's given me pretty good power though for what mods I have so I'm not complaining .
