Comp didnt make the R lifters.Speed Pro/Federal Mogul made them and sold them to Comp.Speed Pro and Comp got into a fight and from what I heard Speed Pro isnt making them anymore.
IMO I believe the 850's are nothing more than a Stocker in a Comp box.
Shubeck is one of the few avenue's for modded HYD. roller lifters.
I believe u need very light valve train components
(Retainers,Valves,PR,Lifters)to run these FAST RAMPIMG HYD. camshafts,otherwise your gonna get float of SOME KIND above 6600 rpm.
