Hello,

I'm trying to get some info. to help me decide between MTI's S2 LS1 heads and their S2 LS6 heads. What is the difference in power and expected ET. Also, what is the difference between their S1 compared to their S2 heads?

My car is a street and strip car, it's mainly driven on the street but does see the track occasionally. I am leaning towards their S2 LS1 heads but I'm not sure just yet.

YOu may as go for broke and go with MTI best performing heads that being the stage II LS6 heads. Should be go for an additional 10 to 20rwhp and Jayson at MTI can answer your question more intelligbly than i can.

If you don't go for the best performing heads and you can afford them now, you will be probably kicking yourself in the **** a year from now wishing you went for all the gusto.

MTI has just started to build my ironblock 427cid stroker and i am going with their best performing race prepped stage III LS6 heads, as i am looking for max. performance and don't want to have to start upgrading heads a year from now.

NOS powered LS1

on stock DP go with LS1's, LS6's will give you about 5-10 more HP, the LS6's will really shine on bigger DP like a 382 or 422, you will see the 20 hp increase then, but not on a 346.

346=LS1's

Go for the Stage 2 LS6 heads. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> If you build a 382 later you already have the heads. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
