DOUBLE SPRINGS: what do you suggest?
I'm going to go w/double springs on a stage 2 head with say a 224 114 lsa cam. Are there any differences between brands when it comes to double springs? Any brands suggested? Or, are all double springs the same?
Thanks guys!
Thanks guys!

The REV-1116's.Thet are 1.25 and you dont need machine work for them to fit your heads. They should be plenty for that size cam.If you want bigger then I would go with the cranes they are 1.46 but need machining to fit.

Sure the valvetrain is gonna get some pressure but I dont think enough to worry about

Re: DOUBLE SPRINGS: what do you suggest?
Well, with a cam that is going to have a .563 lift - will getting double springs be a good idea? I thought that going with doubles, they would be less likely to break?

Stock seat presure is NOT 130!!Your friend is a MORON if he thinks you should run 160SPSI w/a hyd roller..
Guys DONT do this,Your gonna be sorry.
This spring should be setup at 1.84@135...
Make sure u contact West Coast Cyl. Head/Andy at A&A Corvette for the CORRECT retainer for these springs.

Re: DOUBLE SPRINGS: what do you suggest?
yea, it is no where near 130 stock.
you are lucky to have 70 psi on the seat stock.
the highest i have seen is 68.

Re: DOUBLE SPRINGS: what do you suggest?
Do the spring seats from Thunder Racing give you the correct spring height as well? Or is A&A Corvette really the only place to get them?

Re: DOUBLE SPRINGS: what do you suggest?
Dont know,I would call TR..
But if u want the best way to do it,Contact Andy@A&A Corvette or WestCoast Cyl. Head.
The guys are West Coast had these custom retainers made just for this application becasue the REV parts setup w/TOO much seat pressure and could cause coil bind, lifter wear, valvefloat or spring failure etc....
Here ya go....

REV-1116 might work out very nice since you can skip machining the heads.
